Expert Talks

IGPP is bringing a multi-disciplinary talk/lecture/interview series “Expert Talks”, where leading academics, policy-makers, practitioners and relevant stakeholders would discuss the most critical questions of our times related to different fields.

The first in line, is a series focused on significance of rivers-ports-shipping in everyday life, to begin in the month of September. This is in congruence of IGPP’s upcoming initiative, “Bharat Pravah” (a series of regional, national and international events such as dialogues/conferences), which aims to highlight the deep impression of the significance and imagery of river-ports-shipping in everyday life. Through this lecture series, we intend to engage with the field experts to shed light on the social, historical, cultural and economic significance of ports and shipping in India.
