In the area of Social Dimensions of Digital Ecosystems, the institute is working on the areas related to the responsible use of digital space i.e appropriate Internet behaviour, the access and regulation of the content for the younger generation, online safety and well-being and digital Parenting. It also draws attention to Problematic Interactive Media Use (PIMU). The institute aims to make people of the Digital Era aware of their rights and responsibilities while using cyberspace through high-quality research and engagement with the agencies and institutions in both public & private sectors and by forming a discourse around it to enhance public awareness, informed dialogue and a common understanding of critical policy and governance issues in the Digital Space.
