Institute for Governance, Policies & Politics (IGPP) is a think tank initiative of the Vivek Manthana Foundation (VMF), that conducts in-depth research and analysis on the issues of public policy. IGPP is inspired by intellectual rigour and a sense of accountability to innovate and propose practical solutions to issues associated with policy advocacy. It employs both qualitative and quantitative procedures for the purpose of providing research support and analysis for policy formulation, implementation and evaluation.
Mission
The Institute for Governance, Policies and Politics provides a setting where a group of researchers work on different issues and ideas which concern society. It helps shape the perspectives of policymakers, public authorities, enterprises and the government through integrated approaches and offer them impartial, unbiased, well-researched evaluations and recommendations.
Vision
Institute for Governance, Policies and Politics envisages to engage in efficient research to explore innovative and sustainable ideas. The Institute envisions to translate applied and basic research into a language that is understandable, reliable and accessible for policy makers and the public.

The team diligently works towards making a society that is better equipped to deal with modern day changes. It has a people-centric approach and assists government and policy makers among other stakeholders in formulating optimal policies. IGPP, founded in 2011, aims to combine years of hands-on experience in journalism, public policy and politics with in-depth research and analysis of ground realities in an effort to provide policymakers with innovative inputs that can really make a difference with an able, enthusiastic and young team of researchers and consultants.
IGPP has been able to transfer itself into a premier think tank with a focus on Social Dimensions of Digital Ecosystems; Media; Politics and Society; Health and Lifestyle in Modern Society; Energy, Environment and Climate Change and Livelihood and Natural Resources. IGPP’s core mission remains to bring policymakers closer to ground realities and assist them so as to formulate people-centric policies.
