Objectives

In the ever-evolving landscape of technological advancements, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has ushered in a paradigm shift across various sectors. The rapid pace at which AI is reshaping the world makes it challenging for legislators and policymakers to effectively keep up. This IGPP initiative seeks to address the need for a comprehensive approach to AI regulation while fostering innovation. The primary objective of this program is to bridge the gap between the dynamic realm of AI technology and the regulatory framework, empowering Indian lawmakers to navigate this paradigm shift effectively. This will be achieved through a multifaceted approach focusing on awareness, collaboration, and innovation.

 
1. Regulation Gap Analysis and Industry Engagement :

Perform thorough AI regulatory landscape analysis, involving industry stakeholders and experts to address gaps, challenges, and stakeholder expectations.

 
 2. Legislator Empowerment and Awareness: 
Organize sessions for lawmakers, providing in-depth AI insights to enable balanced policy-making, fostering innovation while addressing potential drawbacks.

 

 
3. Collaborative Policy Formulation :

Establish collaborative platforms for lawmakers, industry experts, and researchers to co-create AI regulations, aligning with tech advancements and ethical concerns through open dialogues and ongoing feedback.

 

 
 4. Innovation Advocacy :
